The latest version of Key Studio (2.0.16) was activated this morning, bringing important fixes and enhancements to improve daily operations, self-assembly workflows, and larger lockchart handling.

💬 ASSA ABLOY Lockchart Remarks for MKS Users

A new remark system is available for MKS users logged in as ASSA ABLOY employees, allowing them to view and manage internal lockchart remarks. This feature comes in handy for noting down important context or reminders related to a lockchart.

•When a remark exists, a popup warning appears when the lockchart is opened.

•Users with edit rights can update the remark.

•A toolbar icon gives manual access to the remark at any time.

 

The remark column is visible in the planner only for MKS ASSA ABLOY users.
📥 Support for Larger Lockcharts in Excel Export

The Excel export template has been updated to better support large lockcharts. It now separates codes into a matrix and provides a dedicated article list for cylinders and keys, improving readability and usability.

 

🔄 Break apart groups, sets, and levels

You can now break apart existing groups, sets, or levels, offering more flexibility when reorganizing or editing lockchart structures.

 

🔐 Self-Assembly now requires a Property Card

To ensure traceability, self-assembly is now only available when a lockchart property card is present. This enforces better structure and consistency during assembly processes.

 

🧩 Always one active property card Required

Key Studio now enforces that there must always be one active lockchart property card per lockchart, preventing accidental removals and ensuring key data integrity.

 

⚙️ SystemNumber prefilled in property card validation

When opening property card validation, the system number will now be automatically prefilled to speed up your workflows and reduce manual entry errors.

 

📊 Improved Fluvial Line Performance (Grid View)

Performance has been optimized in the grid view for cylinders on Fluvial Line configurations, allowing faster loading and editing of complex setups.

 

🛠️ Bug fixes and Quality Improvements

This release includes a series of bug fixes and refinements based on internal testing and Assa Abloy remarks, ensuring smoother usage across the platform.
