Locksmith functionality > Interaction to key cutting & engraving machine

This feature exports data files for local production, for use with Silca key cutting and engraving machines. It is available from both the Locksmith self assembly screen and the Locksmith production task screen.

Export options

When the user requests the data files, a dialog appears allowing them to select which export file to create. Key Studio™ currently offers two file exports:

•Silca key cutting

•Silca marking

Additional export formats may be added in future releases.

File location

The user can select the folder where they want to store the export file.
