Key Studio™ provides locksmiths with tools to produce cylinders and keys locally, either from a lockchart (self assembly) or from orders placed through the system (production tasks). Both workflows give access to technical data, machine file export for key cutting and engraving, and production papers.

 

Available features

 

•Locksmith self assembly: produce cylinders and keys directly from a lockchart without placing an order. Accessible from the lockchart menu when the user has locksmith rights. Changes can be synchronised to the technical archive to keep the lockchart up to date.

•Locksmith production task: produce order lines that have been placed through Key Studio™. Accessible from the main tab when the user's company has production tasks assigned to them. Tasks are created server-side after the order is processed.

•Interaction to key cutting & engraving machine: export data files for Silca key cutting and marking machines. Available from both self-assembly and production task screens.

•Production papers: print PDF production papers for production tasks. The output is stored in the same location as the machine files.

 

The self-assembly and production task screens share a similar layout: users select instances to produce, view technical data, and can export machine files or print production papers as needed.
