Locksmith functionality > Locksmith production task

The Locksmith production task feature allows producers to manufacture order lines that have been placed through Key Studio™. When an order is processed, Key Studio™ creates production tasks for items that the producer has chosen to make themselves.

Access

Users with producer rights can activate the production task screen from the Key Studio™ main tab menu. This option is available when the user's company has production tasks assigned to them.

Workflow

The production task screen lists all tasks assigned to the user. Users select which task to produce; a screen similar to the self-assembly screen opens. Technical data is displayed when the user selects the production line to be produced.

From this screen, users can export data files for key cutting and engraving machines, and print production papers. See Interaction to key cutting & engraving machine and Production papers for details.

Confirmation

After production, the producer must confirm the production task and may indicate which instances were not produced (cancelled).
